Gingerwoods Event Hall has a preferred caterer list that includes, Divinity Fine Catering, The Catering Company and Ladyfingers. However, you may bring a caterer of your choice, with the knowledge that a 15% surcharge will be added to the total food bill, payable by the chosen caterer to Gingerwoods. The chosen caterer must be informed of our rules by the renter, and will be the responsibility of the renter. The renter's security deposit will be applied to any damage, additional cleaning costs, missing items or items remaining in the facility, after the event. Alcohol may be purchased by the renter, but must be served by a caterer, who is insured to serve alcohol. If you intend to sell alcohol, then those selling the alcohol must produce a license to sell alcohol to Gingerwoods.
If you select caterers from our preferred list, only a 10% surcharge will be imposed, payable to Gingerwoods by the selected caterer. Gingerwoods has a Coke fountain machine that may be used for beverage service, for an additional fee. Inquire for rates.
*All events open to the public, where food is being served, require proof of insurance. A copy of the insurance policy must be provided to the event director, at least (2) weeks before the event. The renter must supply the insurance, if not supplied by the hired caterer.
*Any Cake supplier serving at an event, open to the public, must also provide proof of insurance to the event director, before the event.
